Fitness is woven into the fabric of Concordia for our independent living, assisted living and memory care residents. Resident, Frances enjoys the easy access to fitness resources. Her workout of choice is one-on-one training sessions with Fitness Coordinator, Chris where they utilize the NuStep. For Frances, workouts give her the challenge she craves and keeps her smiling. A Matter of Balance Event

Many older adults experience concerns about falling and restricting their activities. A MATTER OF BALANCE is an award-winning program designed to manage falls and increase activity levels. This program emphasizes practical strategies to manage falls.

Concordia is proud to offer Rock Steady Boxing – an exercise program designed to improve the mobility, balance and strength of those fighting Parkinson’s. The program is designed to provide neuro re-education through crossing the midline and challenging balance. Each boxer is placed in an appropriate group with others experiencing similar symptoms.
