The Journal Record’s Achievers Under 40 honorees will gather at Chicken N Pickle in Oklahoma City.
OKLAHOMA CITY – It will be an evening to revel in: The Journal Record’s first live and in-person event since the start of the pandemic will be the celebration for the 18th class of Achievers Under 40 honorees.
The reception will be held on Aug. 12 from 4-6 p.m. at Chicken N Pickle in Oklahoma City.
Sarah Barrow, advertising director and events manager for The Journal Record, says that resuming in-person events with a reception for Achievers Under 40 will be memorable. “Our 45 honorees are vibrant members of the community, and we want to celebrate them while allowing everyone a chance to gather as friends and peers. Chicken N Pickle is one of the most popular locations in town, so we anticipate this will be a fun evening of socialization and networking.”
Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores is the presenting sponsor for the Achievers Under 40 recognition and event. Tickets cost $75 each and are available for purchase at www.journalrecord.com through Aug. 6.
This year’s 45 achievers represent a variety of industries and interests throughout the state.
“After all we’ve been through, somehow these young professionals continue to set the pace for excellence in Oklahoma,” said Joe Dowd, interim editor of The Journal Record. “Their professional accomplishments and their inspiring service to our community deserve to be celebrated, and we are pleased to be able to do that with an in-person event this year.”
A special publication featuring the honorees will be inserted in The Journal Record on Aug. 13.
