Artist Visits Retirement Community & Shares Work

Concordia Life Care Community hosted a presentation of local artist Sunni Mercer’s exhibit, “Lament.”

The exhibit featured the artist’s sculptures and poetry, which represented her personal journey toward redemption. The event was an opportunity for residents to listen to Mercer talk about her creations and converse with her about the exhibit, according to a news release.

Concordia is a life plan community where residents can live independently and be guaranteed access to assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing or long-term care should the need ever arise. In addition to being a retirement community, Concordia is also a nonprofit organization committed to upholding Christian values by serving the community.
