Free Wartime Veteran’s Pension Workshop
Veteran’s Day is celebrated on Wednesday, November 11, 2015. As our Nation’s veterans age, many are looking at increased medical costs and considering their long-term care and future housing needs. Veterans of WWII, Korean War, Vietnam and Gulf Wars may be eligible for tax-free income. This benefit can be used to help defray the expense of assisted living facilities, nursing homes, health insurance, medical expenses and medicines. Surviving spouses of a veteran may also qualify. Families struggling with or facing the expenses of assisted living or skilled nursing care can benefit greatly from Wartime Veteran’s Homebound or Aid and Attendance Pension.
To help our veterans and family members gather more information on this benefit, a free workshop will be held at Concordia Life Care Community in Oklahoma City. As a way of recognizing the service of our veterans, the workshop titled “Wartime Veteran’s Pension” will be held the week of Veteran’s Day: Monday November 9, 2015 at 2:00pm. Concordia Life Care Community is a full-service continuing care retirement community offering senior living in Oklahoma City and is located at 7707 W. Britton Rd.
Pre-registration is requested and can be made by calling 405.340.6554 or going online at www.WinbladLaw.com under the tab “Workshops & Events”. Reservations may also be made by calling Concordia Life Care Community at 405.720.7200.
