Concordia Life Care Community Wins Readers’ Choice Award
OKC Retirement Community Voted as The Oklahoman’s Best Senior Independent Living Facility for 2018
OKLAHOMA CITY (September 10, 2018) — The Oklahoman recently awarded Concordia Life Care Community as the Best Senior Independent Living Facility for their 2018 Readers’ Choice Awards, an annual, local accolade for excellence based on community appreciation and feedback. Concordia was also recognized as a TOP 5 pick in three of The Oklahoman’s categories: Best Senior Independent Living, Best Assisted Living and Best CCRC.
“It is an honor to receive this award,” Concordia’s CEO, Danny Eischen, said. “Our biggest priority has always been providing our residents with the best possible healthy aging experience, and it’s gratifying to see the community responding so positively to what we’re doing.”
With its top-quality senior healthcare, Concordia has been an important member of the Northwest Oklahoma City family since opening its doors in 2007. A dedicated servant to the community, the continuing care retirement community has always emphasized the importance of fellowship and social responsibility with involvement in programs and organizations such as Wellness on Wheels and Sunbeam Family Services.
A not-for-profit organization, Concordia believes that personal growth can be achieved at any age given the right opportunities and supportive lifestyle. Julie Davis, Concordia’s Marketing Director, attributes the community-wide recognition, in part, to the myriad of positive amenities such as their fitness and wellness programs.

This is Concordia’s second consecutive year to receive a Readers’ Choice Award.
