OKLAHOMA CITY – Cancer Treatment Centers of America, Wilspec Technologies and Concordia Life Care Community received the 2019 overall Beacon Awards at The Journal Record’s event spotlighting companies and organizations giving back to the community.
The honorees were recognized at the 12th-annual Beacon Awards event Thursday at Embassy Suites Oklahoma City Downtown/Medical Center. The overall winners in each category will receive a donation for the nonprofits they support.
“The people and organizations we recognized today are helping Oklahomans overcome great challenges in life,” said Journal RecordEditor Russell Ray. “Without them, those challenges would be even greater. It’s important we celebrate and recognize their efforts each and every year.”
First Fidelity Bank has served as the presenting sponsor of the Beacon Awards program since it began in 2008.
“Once again, we are honored to recognize the businesses dedicated to helping our local communities,” said First Fidelity President and CEO Lee R. Symcox. “Our generous corporate citizens exemplify the Oklahoma Standard, making us all proud to live and do business here.”
